Modern Art

it took me only 10 seconds to understand the powerful acceleration of this song. So it is an honor to select Black Lips‘ »Modern Art« as single of the month. The video was directed by occult expert Brian Butler. Enjoy!

YouTube against Gema

Follies Burlesk

Alan Wolfson creates handmade miniature sculptures of urban environments. Complete with complex interior views and lighting effects. The pieces are usually not exact representations of existing locations, but rather a combination of details from many different locations along with much of the detail from the artist’s imagination. There are never people present, only things they have left behind; garbage, graffiti, or a tip on a diner table, all give the work a sense of motion and a storyline. I Want You

Don’t miss these clips…

Cee Lo Green – »I Want You (Hold On To Love)« (YouTube) directed by Mazik Self. Pretty nice costume music clip.

MetronomyThe Look directed by Lorenzo Fonda. Seagulls who drive car-scooter. Nice clay animation with a very stylish pop band.

UNKLEMoney And Run [feat. Nick Cave] (Vimeo) directed Tom Haines. The truth about machinations and habits of the british upper-class.

MunkRue de Rome (Vimeo) directed by Doublezero. Pensioners couple plundering and hunting for prey with lots of fun.

Wild BeastsAlbatross (Vimeo) directed by Dave Ma. Always close to the song. Intense effect.
