Kopf Kino

Shopping trolleys have become somehow part of the visual memory of art history. The newest trolley-based work comes from artist collective on/off. The device itself is constructed from a modified trolley filled with car batteries, a projector and computer held in place with cable ties. Read more about the practical use at designboom

Comfort

Incredible »Comfort« series by the Switzerland based multi-disciplinary studio L/B Lang Baumann. The two artists experiment with inflatable architectural interventions. This consecutively numbered work features large scale tubes that are placed in windows and other objects like the broken, aged and well-weathered cars of a junkyard.

Journée des barricade

Car wrecks, discarded furniture and bulky items of any kind barricaded a central city street in Wellington, New Zealand on Sunday 14th December 2008, from midnight to midnight. This rather gorgeous intervention was created by British artists Heather and Ivan Morison as part of the One Day Sculpture series.
