Dreimal Wasteland-Musik aus den USA. J.BAILIFF u. RIVULETS stammen aus dem Umfeld der allseits geschätzten Slowpop-Band LOW. Beide haben mit LOW zusammen ihre Alben aufgenommen, RIVULETS erscheint sogar auf dem LOW eigenen Chair Kickers’Music Label, BALIFF veröffentlichte bisher 2 Alben auf dem renommierten Chicagoer KRANKY Label.
Bei beiden meist getragenes Songwriting (oh wunder!), RIVULETS erzeugt Nick Drake ähnliche Stimmungen; BAILIFF lässt dabei ihre E-Gitarre im My Bloody Valentine-Stil erklingen (Stadlhober von GARY ist Fan!). DREKKA hingegen macht splinigen Homerecorder-LoFi-Pop u. erinnert dabei an die frühen SEBADOH als auch an THIS HEAT, CURRENT 93. Dreimal aussergewöhnlich tolle Musik fernab der Hypemaschinerie.
