Video installation by German artist Ursula Damm. The artwork uses a self-organizing network to process video footage from the Aeschenplatz, Basel. It also depicts the flow of traffic from a computer’s perspective. 6 min. preview of the 1h5 minutes video.

 

1923 aka Heaven

1923 aka Heaven is one of two animation loops directed by Max Hattler, inspired by the work of French outsider artist Augustin Lesage. 1923 is based on Lesage’s painting »A symbolic Composition of the Spiritual World« from 1923.

The second loop, 1925 aka Hell, is based on Lesage’s painting »A symbolic Composition of the Spiritual World« from 1925. It lives here.

Brooklyn experimental rockers Grizzly Bear have released a clip for »Yet Again«, taken from their new album »Shields«. The symbolic journey of a figure skater. The video was directed by Emily Kai Bock.

Boys Noize – »Ich R U« directed by Patrick Jean & Sebastien Loghman. »Ich R U« is taken out of the new Boys Noize album »Out Of The Black«. More than 200 computer keyboards and some excellent stop motion animation were used during the making of this video.

Die Antwoord – »Fatty Boom Boom«. Hell on earth! Once more, Die Antwoord made a brightly hysterical music clip with sensational dance moves and superbes grimaces. One highlight: a Lady Gaga look-alike has a sight in the streets of South Africa wearing the meat dress which she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
