Tag der geschlossenen Tür

Schocko Ramoni, Pudelboy, Schlagerpoppionier, Underground-Lifestyle-Chronist und einer der letzten Romantiker im Hanseeck, hat einen neuen Roman geschrieben: »Tag der geschlossenen Tür«. In einem aufregend ehrlichen Gespräch mit TAZ-Redakteur Oranus Mahmoodi äußert er sich zu Themen wie Gentrifizierung, seiner Mainstreamnähe und seinem Verhältnis zur Hochkultur, in einem anderen zu seiner Wahlheimat Hamburg (»Auf dem Land kriege ich Panik«). Andere setzen mit so viel Offenheit ihre Karriere aufs Spiel. Das liest sich schön und hat Vorbildcharakter. Ende Januar ist er für gleich zwei Lesungen im Mousonturm.

First Contact

UFO sightings have been in decline since 1960. First Contact is a sci-fi comedy which shows the reason why there are so few alien visits these days. When finances get tight, aliens resort to outsourcing too, and it doesn’t always go to plan. Two alien bureaucrats interrogate the sub-contractor, Gaz, on the progress he’s made with ‚first contact‘ on Earth. They discover that Gaz has a creative use for probes. With their lives on the line, they resort to ‚deleting‘ Earth from their database – keeping humans safe from aliens forever.
