Large inanimate objects, at this state radically defunctionalized, appear not to be out of this world but in the same time they seem so familiar. Filip Dujardin has been working on a series since 2007 whose humor and entertainment value is accompanied by references to art history: »Fictions presents wonderful objects in conceptional subjectivity and is full of jocularity and persiflage. With the aid of a digital collage technique consisting of photographs of existing buildings in and around Ghent, the city of his birth, the artist creates buildings that have been ingeniously imbedded in the landscape and whose construction would be impossible—fabrications in the true sense of the word.«

Last month we haven’t published a podcast episode, alternatively you get today a new volume of our Aqual(o)unge mix series. You can listen / download the thingie at our friends of Progolog, it’s the door no. 2 in their advent calendar of the year 2014.
I think this time we have the most danceable mix of the whole series, especially in the second half you should feel the urge to jump around (my hopes). Also you should consider that it will probably take more than 6 months this time before we bring out the next no. 13, so don’t hesitate and catch the thing…
Here’s the track list with time codes, links to the releases sites and licences (you find the list also at progolog)

(A regular podcast episode of the Machtdose Podcast will be also released this month)

As a hessian from Frankfurt, Germany, it is almost my duty to remind you that our airport is still occupied. Someone took these pictures in summer 2014 on his Flight back from the States to Frankfurt. Seems like the biggest german airport plays a key role as an imperial starport.
