Im Gegensatz zu ihren Artgenossen aus der Dose gesünder, sinnlicher und ökologisch unbedenklich. Anna Garforth hat’s in Londons Clissold Park vorgemacht. Mehr als ein Zuchterfolg.

Abseits ausgetretener Pfade bewegt sich die Liste der 50 besten YouTube-Arts-Videos, die kürzlich im Guardian veröffentlicht wurde. Filmchen, die es so nur im Netz geben kann. John Coltrane’s Live-Gig in Baden Baden mit My Favorite Things aus dem Jahr 1961, Oasis’s TV-Debüt mit »Supersonic« (1994) oder der frühe Nirvana-Auftritt aus dem Jahre 1988 mit Kurt Cobain und Krist Novoselic im Haus von Mama Novoselic. Das wollen wir sehen, auch gerne in schlechter Qualität.

The last days I was a little bit sick, therefore this has become a „quick and dirty“ produced episode, unfortunately especially all the moderation parts are really rubbish now, with volume and editing errors and a lot of noise in the background, sorry for that!

Freispiel – 100 Jahre Olivier Messiaen

An diesem ereignisreichen Frankfurter Wochenende mit Kaiserwetter, MUF 08, Bratwurstständen und Ausstellungseröffnungsterror gibt es einen guten Grund, all das zu ignorieren: der vierte Stock des Atelierfrankfurt. Dort findet heute Abend im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe »FREISPIEL 2008: Olivier Messiaen« der Jungen Deutschen Philharmonie eine freitagsküche statt. Eine Violine, ein Violoncello, eine Klarinette und ein Klavier spielen zunächst ein etwa 10-15minütigen Auszug eines Quartetts. Danach wird gegessen und getanzt. Dazu Hochhausblick, Zahlenmystik, Märchenwelten und die Stimmen der Vögel. Nicht verpassen. Das komplette Programm der Veranstaltungsreihe gibt es hier.
